Originally constructed in 1861, the year of Italy’s unification, the aristocratic palazzo was built by the locally renowned architect Domenico Malinconico in the neoclassical style with a series of courtyards and lush Mediterranean landscaping.
Welcome to Palazzo Daniele in Puglia, Italy. Palazzo Daniele has been in the Petrucci family for five generations and the place reflects long-time owner Francesco Petrucci’s passion for art through a wicked contemporary collection gracing the walls, as well as through sculptural pieces that double as lights, wardrobes, and more. Located in village of Gagliano del Capo in Puglia where the Adriatic’s rocky coastline meets the sandy beaches of the Ionian Sea, the palazzo features a series of courtyards with an orangery and an ink-black swimming pool.
All nine suites have views of the courtyards, local piazzetta (square), or pool. The 25-square-meter Junior Suites and the 45-square-meter Royal Junior Suite come with a queen bed while the 40-square-meter Suites have king beds. The 120-square-meter Master Suites have two bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms. The 200-square-meter Suite Apartment occupies an entire wing of the palazzo with independent access, a private kitchen, a large living area, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a dining room.
