LUXE Travellers visiting Myanmar from Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Russia can now enter Myanmar with a "visa on arrival".
According to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism of Myanmar, holders of ordinary passports issued from the above six countries arriving at Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport or Nay Pyi Taw International Airport can apply for a visa on arrival for tourism purposes for “one year probation period” starting from October 1 this year.
The fee for the visa on arrival, grated for tourism purposes only, is US$50. The duration of stay in Myanmar is 30 days.
Indian and Chinese (mainland) LUXE Travellers were granted "visa-on-arrival" access into Myanmar in 2018, while LUXE Travellers from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Macau can enjoy visa-free entry till 30 September 2020.
